Attacking Barbarians:  This can be a long subject and alot of people will have different views as to how many troops to send of what etc.  So I will make this as simple as I can but maybe someone with more knowledge than me will like to rewrite this section to make it easier for everyone to understand.  Early on before you get zerks and cavs you can practice by scouting with 1 spy a 1* 2* and 3* barbarians.  When you scout them they get put in your mail section under Spy Report.  When you look at the report make sure they are Carthage Barbarians.  If they are Germanic Barbarians they will take much stronger troops to defeat and will kill your troops making you much slower to build up and get strong.  You don't want any troops dieing when you are attacking barbarians for silver.  Now if they are in fact carthage only barbarians make sure to add them to your favorites list by clicking on the plus sign and hitting add to favorites.  For 1 and 2 star carthage only barbarians you only want to attack them for a short time and really work your way to 5-6 start carthage only barbarians as fast as possible.  When you start training Berzerkers and eventually Cavaliers these are the troops you want to attack Barbarians with.  The rest use up too much food to farm with(Like Sags and Onags:  They use a ton of food and dont want to use them to attack barbarians).  Not to attack a 2 start carthage only barbarian army I personally usually send out 300 of either archers, Principles, Monks or Auxilia.  For 3 and 4 star carthage only barbarians I like to use Berzkers until I am able to use Cavaliers.  Berzekers are extremely slow.  You can speed your troops up with the research called marching.  You can also train troops faster by upgrading the research called efficient Training.  Get and get both of them to level 20!  On a 3 star Carthage only barbarian I usually use 200 Bezerkers or 150 Cavaliers.  For a 4 Star I will use 300 Brezerkers or 200 cavaliers. (Some people may do it differently.  This is just the way I do it.  If you have exact numbers email me and I will update this)  (THERE ARE ALOT OF REASONS THERE ARE DIFFERENCES OF HOW MANY TROOPS YOU SHOULD SEND DEPENDING ON HOE LARGE AND STRONG THE BARBARIAN!   ALOT OF IT DEPENDS ON YOUR CASTLE AND HOW STRONG IT IS BEING BUILT.  ANOTHER THING THAT EFFECTS THIS IS HOW LARGE YOUR ALLIANCES HALL IS.  THE LARGER THE HALL AND THE HIGHER YOUR HALLS ALLIANCE TECHNOLOGY THEN THE LESS AMOUNT OF TROOPS YOU CAN SEND DO TO THE TROOPS BEING MORE POWERFUL.)  For 5-6 start carthage only barbarians i use 400 zerks for 5 star and 500 serks for 6 star.  With Cavaliers I use 300 cavs for 5 star and 400 for 6 star.  Now eventually when our hall of alliance and technology has its toughness and inspiration upgraded i can use 200 cavaliers on a 5 star and 250 on a 6 star.  by this time you shouldnt even need to be using zerks.  you will come to learn speed is important on this game.  so the zerks are slow and not needed as you advance intot he game.
